An employer types the code from the certificate and sees the holder’s name as printed, the programme, the level, the issue and expiry dates, and who issued it. A certificate keeps the programme name it was issued with, and still verifies after the programme is renamed or archived. Revoked or expired certificates say so. There is no other way in.

A certification body starts with billing and certificates on. Compliance, for recertification, is the usual next switch; the modules built for children stay off and out of every menu. Programmes set for adults are drawn plain, and a test is timed only where the instructor switches on a time limit for each question, never the placement test: the time each candidate took is recorded for the instructor either way.

Common questions
How can an employer check that a certificate is genuine?
By typing the certificate’s code on the public verification page, with no sign-in. The page shows the holder’s name as printed, the programme, the level, the issue and expiry dates, the issuer, and whether it is valid, expired or revoked. It never shows a score, contact details or other personal data, and there is no search by name: the code is the only way in.
When is a certificate issued?
When the programme’s rule says: on completing the programme, on reaching a named level, or by hand. Nothing is issued until a template exists, the programme’s own or the company default. Reaching a level counts a level-up or an instructor’s change of level, never a placement. A Super Admin, a branch admin or the candidate’s assigned instructor can issue one by hand.
Can certificates expire?
Yes. A template can give its certificates a validity of 1 to 120 months, and the candidate and the admins are told 30 days before the expiry and again on the first day it has expired. An expired certificate still verifies, marked expired. With the compliance module on, recertification can run as a required programme that repeats every 1 to 36 months and issues the certificate again with a new expiry.
Can a certificate be revoked or corrected?
Yes, and the public check says so. A Super Admin or branch admin revokes a certificate with a reason, and its code then verifies as revoked rather than disappearing. An issued certificate never changes: a correction is a re-issue with a new code, which revokes the old one. A certificate keeps the programme name it was issued with, even after the programme is renamed or archived.
Can we set a pass mark for each level?
Yes. Each level has its own pass score, and each programme sets the pass marks of its placement test, unit quizzes and level-up test; the defaults are 80 for a level and 70% for each test. A candidate moves up a level by passing the level-up test, or by an instructor’s change of level, which is recorded in the audit log with a reason.
Can an instructor work for more than one organisation with one sign-in?
Yes. An instructor, a candidate or a sponsor may belong to several organisations that use AI Teacher with one email address and password, and switches between them on Profile, the role following the organisation. Each organisation keeps its own candidates, results and certificates, and is not told where else the address is used. An admin’s address belongs to one organisation only.
